Thank you for another successful Camp Walleye

In summary Northern pike are off some but I believe that the biggest reason for not catching as many Pike was that most our boat captains could catch Walleye so Pike weren't targeted.
Perch were down some but again this year seems that the perch are either over 9 inches or under 5 inches. Very few Perch from 6 to 8 inches. The larger perch were in excellent condition.
Here is who has caught all those fish and size

Big Pike ---21 inches Zac Volkmar
Walleye-26.75 Tanner Swicher
Carp 28 inches 11 lbs Hunter Cross
Perch 11 inches Cody Eisenbarth
Trout 18inch Rainbow Riley Senger

Most inches 236 inches Tavia Banger. This is the second year this young lady caught most inches of fish. On the lighter side all the boys may need counseling because Tavia told them when she got on the bus she would catch the most fish.

I could go on and on but pictures do more than works so take a look.

Glasgow Kids Day

Wow how time flys. 2007 was here and gone in a flash. It never seems like you can accomplish all you want to within the year. As 2008 begins the Glasgow/Fort Peck Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited is already getting moving. Walleyes Unlimited in conjunction with Fish Wildlife and Parks just hosted our kids ice fishing day on the Home Run fishing pond on Jan 6th. We had a wonderful turnout with approx 70 kids attending. It was a fun day of catching trout, perch, and crappie. We at Walleyes Unlimited want to send a special thank you to Andrew Mckean and his crew for all their help and equipment provided during the event. As you can see the smiles are abundant. That's one thing about being a walleyes unlimited member that really makes you feel good, seeing our little ones getting involved in a wonderful sport. More Info
